What verification means
A published business must be real, have a reviewed source, usable contact information, a useful description, and a recorded verification date. An owner claim is reviewed separately. Neither a profile nor a claimed badge guarantees quality, licensing, safety, or current availability.
Sources and changing details
We use business-controlled sources and independently checked information. Where public sources are available, profiles and guides link to them. We do not copy Google reviews into our own review collection. Hours, prices, conditions, and availability should be confirmed with the business or original source.
Original customer experiences
Customer review invitations are connected to documented interactions. Positive, negative, and disputed experiences are eligible. The customer supplies the rating and account of their experience. We moderate for privacy, relevance, abuse, conflicts, and authenticity—not for whether the review helps a paying business. Business replies are reviewed too.
We do not create reviews, sell positive sentiment, or equate a documented interaction with guaranteed workmanship. Report a review through the correction process with its profile link and the reason for concern.
Commercial independence
Paid placements must be identified as sponsored. A business cannot buy a positive review, verification decision, or editorial ranking. Referral compensation is disclosed near the relevant request, and sharing customer details requires appropriate consent. Commercial relationships do not remove free correction rights.
Read the commercial disclosureAI assistance
AI may help organize a request or draft an answer from approved public information. It must not invent businesses, reviews, prices, hours, or bookings. Our local assistant links to the information it uses and states when confirmation is needed. It is not a substitute for professional advice.
Corrections and accountability
Send the page URL, the incorrect statement, a proposed correction, and a source. Changes are reviewed before publication. Dates represent actual recorded checks or editorial updates, not a promise that every fact is still current.
